Safest Used Cars Under $25K

Whether your kids are small or your teenagers are starting to drive, you want a safe car for your family. You want the peace of mind of knowing that if you are ever in an accident, your family will be protected from harm as much as possible. At the same time, you don’t want to pay a fortune for a new car.

With that in mind, we set out to find the safest used cars under $25k and found a list put out by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. All of these vehicles have achieved good ratings in the IIHS side crash test, moderate overlap front crash test, head restraint test, and roof strength test. They are also rated as good or acceptable in the driver-side small overlap front test and they are rated 4 or 5 stars by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

Many of these cars have safety features that help prevent accidents as well as having the ability to stand up well to a crash. Regardless of which one you choose, you can be confident that you’re doing your best to keep your family safe.
